WHAT IS ORPS?

ORPS is a 501C3 Non Profit whose mission is to provide professionals with leadership, educational, personal and professional development opportunities in order to promote the importance of quality environmental, cultural, recreational and park services. ORPS holds continuing education workshops, an annual training conference and trade show and provides student and professional educational scholarships. The Parks and Recreation profession was the first to provide a degree in a field of public service to promote community responsibility for providing better quality of life activities for their citizens. All donations are tax deductible.
